Tournament?= :)

Was really thinking of hosting a tournament,but this 1 will be a mixed clans war.
The experimental one.

What i suggest is:

Team of 6 members of 3-3 players of 2 DISTINCT CLAN
Multiple teams of a clan but should not tie with each other.

Would be extremely funny and cool dota tournament ever.

But the problems are too

1.What can be the ideal period of this tournament?when we can start it??
2.What we can reward or award the winners??or just for fun only?
3.how to publicize it??Call more clans and teams??
4.who can be the good and stable hosts??(host for different-2 regions)
5.Who can be volunteer in it from our clan?u guys interested or should i put this innovative idea on dumpyard(GARBAGE)...

well i wanted to suggest one thing that according to me the clans which want to participate in this tournament shd egister their names to us and someone from us shud mix the players from diff clans without being partial coz if ppl are given choice to make team with other clan players then they wud team up with the pro clans they know of or with their ally clans ... but according to me pro clan players shud b teamed up with average clans so that everyone has a balanced team and it wud b a good challenge for everyone that how they coordinate with unknown players .... JUST FOR MORE FUN

well guys if someone has ideas regarding the tournament pls post them ... need a lot of help as to when and how to organise it and to keep a watch so that everything is done fairly

Definitely a great idea Xevian, don't disregard it just yet. Here are some of my suggestions:

1. An ideal period to hold the tournament is the hardest problem, although I would give at least 3-4 weeks of publicizing before you actually held the tournament. The timing should really be a group decision.

2. Most tournaments are for prestige, but a reward is always nice. It doesn't have to be anything big, but it would have to be practical in the sense that 3 people would share it. (the winning team)

3. Advertise a ton on GR, and here on the forum. That's all I can really say about that...

4. A stable host is another tough decision. My suggestions would be to find a middle-man, a host somewhere in between east and west hemispheres (europe maybe?), or find someone who has a super reliable internet connection. This will be hard as well.

5. I probably will not be able to compete, if the tournament is any time soon, but if I make it back online soon enough SIGN ME UP!!
